2008 GMC 5500 Custom
This unit will replace our current squad and add an additional tool to the community of tamaqua. Its primary purpose is to support Engine 782 at all Fire, Rescue, and Accident calls. Also it will be our primary R.I.T vehicle.
The Squad will hold 8 fully dressed fire fighters with a interior command area, mobile weather station, computer with internet access, printer, scanner, copier, wireless phone, reference materials for Hazmat and other incidents. It will also have a 15KW PTO direct drive generator, low-band, high-band, and 400MGhz radio system full spec sheet will be posted in the next few weeks.

2000 KME
Engine 782 is a 2000 KME Custom Pumper with a 2000gpm pump.
It has 12 Preconnected lines including:
4- 1 3/4" crosslays,
1- 2" crosslay,
2- 2 1/2" off hosebed,
1- 3" Portable Deck Gun off hosebed,
1- 1 3/4" Trashline,
1- 1 3/4" Foam PAK,
1- 2 1/2" Leader Line,
1 remote controlled deck gun.
This Pumper also carries 8 firefighters with assorted tools.
